Winterville Easter Weekend April 16, 2011

Denny & Jane invited us to the annual Winterville Easter Egg Hunt.  Jack and Abby had a blast.  It was a beautiful day, although a bit windy.  Grey, Chelsea, Eleanor & Martha came as well.  I think Eleanor found about 4 pounds of candy.  The hardest part was having them wait for the start time to go get the eggs.  Patience is not found in many toddlers.  Especially Abby.

And they are off!

I had to tell Jack to put it in his basket and open it later.

I had Doug carry Abby off to a section by herself

She figured it out real quick

Chelsea and Martha join the fun

Going through the stash was the best

And of course, they had to visit the swings

Everyone had a great time playing in the back yard.  Eleanor climbed a tree and was quite the monkey.  Jack had a hard time trying to figure out if he would ride on Granddaddy's riding lawnmower.  He eventually decided it was ok BUT only if they went real slow.  I was really proud of him to get on it and go.  Before we know it Granddaddy will have a yard man.
