2012 Halloween

This year we all attended the Halloween party for Jack and Abby's school at Glenlake park.  For whatever reason, Abby was in a SUPER bad mood.  We almost had to leave, but then she perked up.  This year Jack was a pirate, Abby was a strawberry fairy again (same as last year, I had a lady bug costume, but she wanted to be a fairy again) and Wyatt was supposed to be a lion.  Until he outgrew his costume so for the school party he was a lion and when we went trick-or-treating he was a dalmatian. They were all super cute.  Cousin Savannah and Nana joined us for the beginning of trick-or-treating.  No, Wyatt did not get any candy.  Poor guy and poor mama.

*Note - I would like to mention that I was able to easily talk the kids into separating their candy out and giving most all of it to the soldiers.  halloween candy buy back

Abby's Halloween Playdate at Leigh Ann's

My friend, Leigh Ann, had a Halloween playdate for Abby's group.  Abby and Wyatt had a great time.  Poor Jack was stuck in school.

June 2012 Baptism

So, as I was going through the crap on my desk I came across a CD from Denny that has pictures from Wyatt's baptism.  I looked through previous posts because I was sure I had posted about it.  Um, not in June or July.  So, I searched my blog and saw I never did.  Now, that is just bad.  So, here it is, the end of November and I am posting about it.  I know the day was crazy because it was the same day as our open house party.  Krikey.  Now I need to look to see if I posted about THAT!  Wow.  Nope.  And I thought I was caught up.  I am so behind.

Ok, back to the baptism.  Right, we had it the same day as the house re-warming party in which we had 50+ people coming to it.  It was a low key baptism and kinda last minute.  We had a hard time picking a Saturday where the Schramms could make it.  They are super busy.  Of course the one day they did pick, Doug was biking across Iowa, so that didn't work.  John actually couldn't make it at the last minute and so Alexis stood in as proxy.  We went back to the house, had pizza and then prepped for the party that night.  I should have said the house rewarming party was Wyatt's baptism.  Then he could tell Jack and Abby that he is the favorite.
