Sleep!

Wyatt in the last two weeks has started sleeping through the night. And I don't mean 5 hour stretches but from 8:00-7:30pm!  He doesn't do it every night but he has done it a few times. Jack was sleeping 8:00-8:00pm when he was 4 months old but Abby didn't sleep through the night until she was 22 months.  Nothing beats sleep.

Wyatt also likes to stand all the time.  I don't understand why my babies don't like to be babies past the 2 week mark.  Wyatt doubled his birth weight at 2 months.  Sigh.

Delays

I have been promising to start updating my blog again and hope to be able to soon.  Wyatt suffered/suffers from reflux and before we got his meds under control he was either sleeping (not during the day and only on someone if he was) nursing or screaming.  So, it was a rough start with him.  He is currently on Prevacid and it seems to be doing wonders for him.  I am also wheat, dairy and soy free.  I also do not eat any acidic or gassy foods.  So, I pretty much live on peanut butter but I love my little guy and it isn't his fault so I have no problem doing it.  If you would have told me pre-kids that he would require that I would have told you I would just give him formula.  It is amazing how your perspective changes when you have children.

Not only do I have a newborn, a 2.5 yr old and a 4 yr old, but we are renovating our home and putting an addition on it so I have been slammed.  The house should be done in a few weeks and is looking awesome.  I am super excited although I seriously do not know how I will survive without my mom being with me 24-7.

Sleeping in underwear

Jack started sleeping in big boy underwear on Feb 6th!!  We are super excited and should have put him in them months ago as he has been waking up dry for months.  I guess having to get up with a newborn I didn't want to have to also add sheet changing to my middle of the night list of duties.
