And he is off to kindy!

The morning went very well.  Going to sleep at 7:30pm last night certainly helped, but he was up at 6:30am.  He ate breakfast around 7am, then at 7:30 he got dressed and was out the door at 7:45am.  We got there at 7:55am and got him settled into his room.  He was such a big boy about it, super curious, checking out his new classroom, etc.  We found his seat right as the announcements started so he took his seat.  I gave him one last kiss and left.  It was as hard as I thought and not as hard as I thought.  I did get choked up as I walked to the car and teared up a bit, but knowing I am getting him in 4 hours really helped.

'Twas the Night Before Kindergarten....

Tonight (Aug 6th, 2013) is the night before Jack starts Kindergarten.  Wow.  I seriously can't believe it.  I am pretty much a mess.  It makes me so sad to send him.  I really thought I was going to homeschool him, but we decided to try Catholic school first.  I just need to keep reminding myself that nothing is permanent.  We can change his schooling at anytime.  My home schooling friends recommended trying traditional school first, that way if it works, then great!, if not, we can homeschool.  It would help keep him focused with the reminder if he doesn't want to pay attention at home, he would have to go back.  Ha.  So.  Here we are.  Jack will be 6 in a month.

Luckily tomorrow is early release, he is out at noon.  Then his schedule will be 7:50-3:15pm every day except Wed, he gets out at 2:30pm.  We can do this.

School uniform.

Sleeping at 7:30.  He is still just a baby.

CHEESE

OMG!  The last few days I have tried eating some cheese and have given some to Wyatt (he doesn't really like it) and he has been ok!  It has been 19 MONTHS since I have had dairy.  To have some cheese on my fajitas was so special.  I just gave him some chobani, so we will see how he does with the yogurt.  I don't care if he drinks milk but to be able to have some dairy would make dinners so much easier.  Fingers crossed it lasts.  If he keeps doing ok, it means I can have PIZZA!  I am not normally a pizza person, but when you haven't had it in almost 2 years you kinda crave it (gluten free crust of course!).  I kept reading that Wyatt would hopefully outgrow his issues, but it hadn't happened yet.  I am just holding my breath!

AND....tonight we had pizza.  Sweet Jesus.  I will post pictures later.

2 more clippies

I am pretty proud of these two clippies.

Ariel!  I hope Abby likes her!  She wasn't too difficult.

Pumpkin!

Back to bow making

I decided that I needed to start crafting again.  I want to find another shop in Decatur to sell my bows and thought I should make some new stuff.  Here is some stuff from today.  I forgot to take pictures of my christmas bows.  They look like the package bows, the simple stick on ones.  Super cute.

A clover.  I would make it a 4 leaf clover next time and a clear gem but I didn't have any.

Flower bow and finally nailed the twisted boutique bow

Love the green bow.  I have seriously been trying to figure out that bow for years

Another one

Think this came out pretty cute

Nailed it!

Science day at the Mathews house. We made witches brew. Huge hit!

Every science project needs glitter

A little vinegar, dish soap, food coloring and baking soda

Of course they had to touch it all
