Definitely crawling

Wyatt has totally figured out crawling.  He is now mobile.  Doug put him in the hallway and was bathing Abby, turned around and Wyatt was in the bathroom with him.  I guess I need a gate for the stairs now.

First back carry

I realized I could get Wyatt's on my back.  Sweet!  I couldn't do it with Abby until she was 9 months old by myself.

French braid

Abby's first French braid.  It is a little lopsided but I haven't done one in years.

BLASTED CORN!

So, I tried adding corn back into my diet and Wyatt is a little pissed at me.  It has disrupted his sleeping, given him has and made him miserable.  Not the end of the world but no more Mexican for me.  Bummer. Next thing I will try is eggs.

Bottle!!!!

STOP THE PRESS!!!!!!!

Wyatt took 2oz in a bottle yesterday. Amazing, I know. I am so happy. I can't wait to try going out at night and leaving him with Doug and a bottle. I was held "captive" by Abby for 22 months, the thought of actually being able to go out when I want to is very liberating. Hell, I might actually be able to ride my bike again. Whohoo!

A crazy lunch

Today I was able to sit and eat my lunch with all three kiddos without getting up once. Nobody needed anything. It was marvelous. I can't remember the last time I have had a meal without having to get up a million times.

Rice

You know you are eating a lot of rice when you buy 25 lbs of it.  Thankfully my parents got me a rice cooker.  I have no idea how long we lived without one.  So, my diet now consists of:
Rice
Chicken
Potatoes
Olive oil
Apples
Bananas
Pears
Avocado
Peas
Carrots
Oats

Since adding the oats (which are GF) he has been very burpy and fussy.   Makes me wonder about them.

Day of firsts

Jack and Abby had their first donuts and Wyatt drank out of a straw for the first time (and first try too!).

Getting ready in the morning

How nice is it to have a friend help me with my makeup in the mornings.

Another messy eater

Wyatt can't be trusted during a meal. He loves to get his fingers dirty and then grab his hair.

Unexpected night visitor

Look who came to spend the night. Yay for Nana!

Chicken

Ok, so I am using my blog to help me remember where I am on my elimination diet. I think Wyatt is having an issue with the turkey, so today I am going to switch to chicken. I haven't had squash since this past Wed. He is still having green mucousy poops. yum! I will figure it out!

Root Canal

Tomorrow I am scheduled to have a root canal. So. After a week on the elimination diet, with Wyatt seemingly WORSE God decides a root canal would round out my week. Thanks for that.

Since Wyatt has been doing worse on the diet, I have taken out squash. Doesn't seem to help, so tomorrow I am swapping turkey for chicken. I won't mind if he hates turkey. Who blames him?

Gusto

Wyatt has figured out food. He now LOVES to eat and eats with gusto. He is following in Jack's footsteps, not Abby's. He is like a little bird. He will watch Jack and Abby eat and then open his mouth, eat some and then laugh. It is super cute. I really enjoy feeding him.

I have added bananas to his diet. Next will be some green beans. So far he likes everything, he has even decided he will tolerate apple sauce. He might be mine after all.

Rockstar Wyatt

Today Wyatt was in a music video!! He was in two scenes and will be in another that will be shot on Sunday. It was a lot of fun. Little bit is tuckered out! I can't wait to post a link to the video when it is all edited and complete. Stay tuned....

Day 4 of TED (total elimination diet)

Lets just say I am really sick of turkey.  I know the first thing I add back will be olive oil. Then chicken. Then wine.

11 years

Doug and I celebrated 11 years of marriage this past Saturday night. It has seriously flown by, although time certainly has gained speed with the addition of children. Funny how that is. I am seriously blessed to still be in love with my husband, to consider him one of my best friends.

We celebrated by going to dinner, we went to www.urbanpl8.com. That restaurant was recommended to me because they have a gluten free and paleo menu. So, I was able to order and not have to worry about dairy, soy and gluten and have a yummy meal. It was so nice to be able to go somewhere and have many options. Garlic was just the big offender there, but it was easy enough to pick something off the menu. I can't wait for the next 11.

Rarity

A picture with all three?  Is it possible?

Chef Wyatt

Someone likes to cook.

Tooth!

Before I forget, Wyatt got his first tooth on May 28, 2012! It is his bottom right tooth. He sure loves to use it when he is done nursing. I will need to teach him not to do that!

Doug

Ok, as I am busy tagging all my posts to make sure I don't favor a child over another I realized I have hardly any posts about Doug. So, we need to fix that (not that I have many of me, but still). So, be on the look out for some more Dadda posts.

Speaking of, he is training up for www.ragbrai.com which is July 22-28. So, he has been on the bike more to gear up for is. It is something I hope to do at some point because I have always wanted to visit Iowa. I think doing it on a bike would be awesome. Therefore, I sent him to do some recon work. Haha. Actually, all of his cycling buddies are doing it, so he should have a great time.

Who doesn't love mud?

Total Elimination Diet

Ok, so since we have just recently increased Wyatt's prevacid to 3/4 a solutab twice a day and he is still having issues I decided to go on the total elimination diet to see if I can pinpoint what is bothering him. So, for the next two weeks, I will only be eating:

Turkey
White Potatoes
Sweet Potatoes
Yellow Squash
Green Squash
Rice
Millet
Pears
Salt & Pepper

Then I will slowly start introducing things back into my diet. I am fairly sure the first one will be wine.

Potty train FAIL

Well, I put Abby in underwear the next morning and she was all excited.  I then put a cloth pull up over her undies since she was going to be in the playroom on our new carpet.  Well, she peed in her undies.  Jack ratted her out and she came upstairs.  While I was changing her, I asked if she wanted her diaper on again and she said yes, so back in diapers she went.  She will let me know when she is ready.  Boot camp is just not my style.  I know she could do it, but Abby is super stubborn and is adverse to change.  It is ok. I love her like that.

A series of Abby pictures

I think these pictures pretty much sum up Abby's personality.
