Nana's new dinner date

So, as I was feeding Wyatt today I realized who he should be sharing a meal with at the table.  Nana!  He takes FOREVER to eat and well, so does she.  Now that we are talking about food, I will list his current menu:

rice cereal
sweet peas
apple sauce
avocados
carrots

So far he only really likes the avocado, but will tolerate some peas with it.  Apple sauce makes him gag.  Weird since my other two live on it.

Could it be???? Undies for Abby??? Tomorrow?

So, as I was putting Abby to bed tonight, I left her room only to come back to have her tell me she was pooping.  So, I told her that was it.  She was going to start wearing underwear tomorrow.  She agreed!  I then pulled it out and showed her that I had my little pony & pink ones (miracle of all miracles) and she was very excited.  So, we shall see.  I am putting her in a dress tomorrow with underwear.  We will be playing outside for sure.  She is so smart.  I know she can do it.  If not, diapers until she is 16.

Little Bit

I am not sure if I have posted my nickname for Wyatt.  I call him little bit.  Jack calls him Mr Man and Abby calls him Wyatt.  We just love our newest addition.

MSPI Mama

So, I found a great website today, http://www.mspimama.com.  I can't remember if I have blogged about my diet restrictions in regards to feeding Wyatt and I am too lazy to look back so this could be a repeat post.  Any rate, the list of things I can't eat because they wreck havoc on Wyatt are:

Dairy
Soy
Garlic
Onions
Tomatoes
Spinach
Citrus (Minimal OJ, etc)
Anything gassy

Oh, and I am gluten free.  So, you would think I would be skinny.  Well, I am not.  If he couldn't tolerate peanut butter or chips than I would be.  People ask me all the time when I am going to wean him.  I'm not.  It isn't his fault he can't have those things.  I am sure he would rather be a normal happy little baby, not one writhing in pain when I accidentally have hummus forgetting there is garlic in it.  Oh, and the gas.  It is room clearing.  I hope he will grow out of it, but at his 6 month appt I had to have Mark (our ped) increase his Prevacid because he was getting so refluxy again.  He is on 3/4 tablet twice a day with Zantac as a rescue med if needed on a bad day or Mylanta if it isn't a bad day.  It isn't like he isn't thriving.  He weighed 19 lbs 12 oz at his 6 month appt (still not as big as Abby who was 22 lbs).  So, hopefully he will grow out of it.  So far he hasn't.

9:45pm

I wonder when I am older if I will remember how I used to have my watch alarm set to 9:45pm to remind me to go to bed because I have babies & toddlers who wake up at 5:45am?

I think I will set those same teenager's watches to that same time.  Only, not to 9:45pm but to 5:45am because I love them like that.

Avocado!

Wyatt had avocado last night and LOVED it! Yay for a food he will eat.  I just never realized how spoiled I was with Jack.  He was such a good eater.  Still is really.  He will try anything.  Abby, not so much...

Wyatt is 6 months!

Time is flying by.  Seriously.  Wyatt just turned 6 months 2 days ago.  It is crazy.  He is up on all fours, rocking back and forth like he is going to crawl, he pops up and down.  He is a mover.  He weighs 19lbs 12oz and is 26.5 inches long.  Abby was 22 lbs at 6 months, I can't recall how much Jack weighed.

Things are finally settling down around here.  We are mostly unpacked, we still have to put up towel racks, finish our master closet shelving (hmmm...Doug) but overall we are doing pretty good.  I found a kick ass narrow table at a yard sale for $12.  YES!  $12!!!!  For our entry way.  It isn't retro but it was in the budget and will work until we can afford a retro one.

School lets out this Thursday, so I hope to be able to post some pictures and post more often.  I had it in my mind I was going to go back and post about all the things that have happened, but it just ain't gonna happen.  So, yes, we celebrated Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years, but I will not be blogging about them anytime soon or at all.  I think I will just try to go forward and if I have time, post some old pictures.  That is all anyone, well, my loyal reader, my mom cares about anyway.  ;)

Jack mountain biking

Jack on his first mountain bike ride at Yellow River.  Super impressive!!!!  He is such a natural.

Jack singing Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer

Too cute!!!  This is from school.  Yeah, it is from FOREVER ago, but I had a month old baby when Jack did this who screamed all the time, so ya know, it might take me 5 months to post the video.
