Last of the 2013 random pictures

Wyatt is weaned

The last time I nursed Wyatt was on Thursday, Feb 13th.  I took a picture.  It was just getting too painful to nurse while pregnant.  He was only nursing before his nap so it wasn't a big change.  He hasn't cried about it.  I kept telling him that he was a big boy and there was no more milk leading up to the last time I nursed.  He kept telling me "no, I am a baby".  It was super cute.  He has only mentioned it once so I think he was ready to move on.  He nursed for 27 months.  I wonder if I will nurse the baby longer since there won't be another one booting him off??

It is such a bittersweet milestone. On the one hand, I want to go back to nursing (as it has caused him to drop his nap some days now) but on the other hand it is so uncomfortable.  Of course, typing about it now makes me want to cry.  :(  My baby is growing up. 

Panama City Beach 2013

 We went back to Splash at Panama City Beach this year because the kids were dying to go to the water park and lazy river.  It was a lot of fun.  Doug and I went deep sea fishing and caught a bunch of fish with another 3 people we chartered a boat with.  It was awesome.

 

2013 Doug's Birthday

Yeah.  It is Feb and I still haven't blogged about Doug's birthday or Christmas.  I know.  I know.  Lets just say I have been tired.  I think I am almost caught up on 2013.  Just some random pictures, Christmas and I will be done!!! 

We had a raging good party for Doug's birthday.  Presents, cookie, kids, what more can a dad ask for?
