Thomas has figured out how to sign "more" today

June 5 food

I wrote this on June 5th on my phone but for some reason it wouldn't publish and I am too lazy to rewrite it in the correct date context.  So deal.

Thomas has figured out food.  Up until yesterday he had no real interest. It started with a banana last night for dinner, with some chicken.  Today he wanted all the food and would cry if you took it away.  He even had his first stinky poop tonight.  My baby is on his way to toddlerhood.

Pretty soon I will realize I no longer have an infant.  It won't happe

9 months old

Thomas had his 9 month checkup and he is 21lbs 4oz.  Chunky little guy.  He has started crawling, he isn't fast yet, but at least he isn't going backwards like he had been the last month.  He still isn't into much food.  Applesauce and puffs are about it.  He is a little anemic so I need to get iron rich foods into him.  Yeah, right.  That won't help his poop problem, or lack thereof.  Boy only poops once a week or so.

Length: 29 in 75%
Head: 18 3/4 in 98%

The head might explain all the face plants he does. 

On the verge

Thomas is on the verge of crawling. He crawled towards me a bit today. I give him a week and he will be off and crawling. Just need to hold on tight each day as my baby keeps slipping through my fingers.

Tired

I  haven't been posting much at all since Thomas was born.  He is a sweet baby but he doesn't sleep.  So, when I get a few minutes of Thomas free time I catch up on email, clean the kitchen or fold laundry.  I am going to try to start updating my blog more often.  I can't believe I never posted Christmas. 

Just some updates.
Jack has a loose tooth and is taking swim lessons.
Abby is going under water and learning to swim.
Wyatt is potty training with runs of good days and then runs of accidents.
Thomas just switched from Prevacid to Prilosec (with Zantac) to see if it will help with the insomnia.
I am trying to get to the gym. 
Doug is working like crazy.

Milestones!

Well, today, March 10, 2015 Wyatt climbed out of the crib. I can't believe it took him this long. 

Thomas cut his first tooth, bottom left (his) on Feb 25th and upper left on March 5th.

Cuteness

Happy 5th Birthday Abby

Abby wanted another pool party and of course the theme had to be Frozen!  So, we setup the pool, made some Frozen snacks and filled the sand and water table with ice.  She had a great time, splashing with her friends and then eating cake. 

Rollin, rollin, rollin!

Thomas made the leap and rolled over for the first time on Jan 22nd, 2015.  Of course I had been filming him, even made a comment that I might get the first roll on camera....then missed it.  As soon as I turned it off.  He rolled over.  Story of my life.  He hasn't done it again, but at least I know he can.  He could be like Abby.  She rolled over at 5 months and never did it again until she was 8 months old.  Guess she figured she knocked it off her bucket list, why bother doing it again?

June 2014 New Smyrna Beach

We went to New Smyrna Beach for 2 weeks this June.  We love it there and so do the kids.  You can load the car and drive right on the beach.  We stay at Uncle Nathan and Aunt Jill's beach house.  They have an outside shower so when you leave the beach, you shower outside and no sand gets in the house.  It is awesome.  Their house is only 3 blocks from the ocean and 4 from the intercoastal waterway.  We like to boogie board, snorkel, surf, build sand forts and fish.  Such wonderful memories are made here.
