Stove

Doug is covering up the stove so when he fries the chicken it doesn't mess up Nana's clean stove.

So, Wyatt pulled up to standing in his crib today. I just lowered it to the lowest setting. How do they grow so fast? The picture was taken right before he did it.

Abby got a second party the same day as her birthday party because Auntie Lex and Uncle Bobby came to town. We invited Nana and Pops to come over for dinner as well. I think Jack had a little more fun at this party. Not to mention, Auntie Lex even got him a present! Now that is good living!

Jack

Jack is now 4.5, almost 5 and I have to say he is such a loving little boy. I just want to capture this time in case he decides it isn't cool to run up and hug your mom or your baby brother (or Abby if she would let him) for no reason in the middle of the day. He is such a sweet love. I sure love me some Jackie.

Today we made pretzels for the first time. It was a messy hit.

House

Abby's present from us was an outdoor playhouse. We actually got it for her last year, but then decided to renovate our house, so it stayed in the box and went into storage. I really wish I had taken a picture of Doug and the contents of the box when he opened it. It contained a million parts and screws and each screw hole had to be predrilled before he could put a screw in it. My lands. He was not a happy camper. He did it though. Jack and Abby got the house. Doug did a fantastic job. Abby was thrilled.

Today's activities

Today we made crafty crowns and built a fort. Wyatt is known as the fort destroyer and he also is the tornado which wrecks havoc in ponyville.

Potty FAIL take 1 million

Yeah. Abby never used the potty again at camp. She will not succumb to peer pressure. Good for her. This will be a good thing in about 10 years.

So. I am going to drop it. I am over asking. I figure one day she will decide to use the potty. I can send her cloth diapers to college. I am sure she will meet a nice boy who will bring them home to his mother on the weekends to wash.

Abby's 3rd birthday!

My Little Pony Party - pink and purple of course!

Abby had a hard time picking between My Little Pony and Strawberry Shortcake for her party theme. Eventually My Little Pony one out. We do super low key parties here. She invited 4 of her friends and they played in the playroom, we pulled out the parachute, served pizza and cake/ice cream. Abby had a great time and so did her little friends.

As I was looking over the pictures, I realized I never got a close up picture of the cake! And it was so cute!! I ordered the Garden Fairy cake from Publix and told them to leave the fairy off. The cake came with butterflies and flowers. I then added two ponies to the top of it. She loved it! Here is a picture of the cake from Publix. Just imagine a pink and purple pony on top. Super cute!!

Everyone had a great time at the party except Jack. After her party he asked her if she was going to be as bored at his party as he was at hers. It was pretty cute. Below are some pictures.
